When I was young, I had professional shots taken of my family dog which was a perfect way to keep her memory alive once she had passed.  We booked Erin to do a photo shoot as my husband and I wanted to do the same with Zuri, our 18 month old Cavalier/Maltese cross.  Zuri is a crazy little pup, and we really needed to find somebody that was going to truly capture her personality.  Before the shoot, Erin asked us lots of questions to give her a better idea of Zuri’s personality, likes and dislikes and temperament. 

During the photo shoot, Erin was so patient, if Zuri lost interest, Erin would leave her be and wait until she was ready.  Erin was happy to work with Zuri rather than trying to force her to do posed and perfect shots.  When we sat down to view the photo’s with Erin, we were in shock.  Each and every photo perfectly captured Zuri’s unique personality, not just one or two!  By looking at the photo’s, you can see that Zuri is happy and relaxed, and I completely credit Erin for that, she went out of her way to make sure Zuri was comfortable the whole time.

When we went into the photo viewing session we just couldn’t choose, they were all so fantastic!  Erin is an amazing photographer, with the patience of a saint!  The entire experience from pre-consultation to picking up the photos was easy and Erin was nothing but professional during the entire process.  Best of all, we now have beautiful shots of our gorgeous pup forever, that to me is priceless.

Since Lauren’s photo session, Bindii had to be put down on Boxing day 2011.  Bindii lived to be 17 and when we had this session Bindii could no longer walk due to arthritis.  Lauren and Bindii had a very special bond and Lauren did all she could to care for Bindii and make her life happy as she lost a lot of her functions in old age.

“Mr Darcy’s (a naughty, but adorable King Charles Cavalier Spaniel) first photography session with Erin was in January 2011.  He was suitably groomed and ready to put his best paw forward for his first-ever shoot at the Treasury Gardens.  For over an hour, Erin worked skillfully and patiently with my energetic one-year old.  Erin took action shots, portrait shots with the flora of the Treasury Gardens forming the background and some fun photos.

When I received the photos I was very impressed. Erin had captured Mr Darcy’s fun-loving and cheeky personality.  I immediately arranged another photographic session, this time with Mr Darcy and his much older “playmate”, Tessa (a gentle thirteen year old KCCS).  I was especially pleased with photos Erin took of Tessa. Once again, Erin was able to capture with her camera the distinctive personalities and qualities of each woofer. She worked tirelessly with the exuberant Mr Darcy and thoughtfully with the less agile, but still beautiful, Tessa.

I was so excited with the final results that I had Erin compile three photo books, essentially coffee table books. Erin is very professional and highly skilled. The quality of her photography is impressive. I am looking forward to more photography sessions with Erin in the near future.”

Pictured here is Yvonne and dog Princess who was rescued by Pets Haven.  Princess was found in a Victorian puppy farm pregnant and in a horrific state. Thanks to Pets Haven, she now lives a much happier life having been re-homed with Yvonne and her family of 4 poodles.
