I tend to work in what I like to think of as an organised chaos. When I recently went back home and took one look at my dad’s office, I now see where I get it from. Let’s just say I’m lucky mine is not in the same state as I think his is verging on a fire hazard. Wall to wall and almost ceiling to floor stacks of files with just a small pathway to the desk chair. Mine is a somewhat organised mess as 9 out of 10 times I know where things are and everything still has it’s place within the displacement. However when I get busy one thing that gets neglected is my computer and I end up having a multitude of files and folders scattered all over my desktop. At the time it’s always too hard to find a place to file things and the desktop has always been the place where I keep current files I’m working on so I can get to them quickly and easily. Recently I found a great way to organise my desktop thanks to Go4ProPhotos which is perfect for me and the way I work. Customising your desktop background image with a work board which is essentially made up of containers which you can organise all your files and folders within. This is such a simple idea, it’s fun and it’s great to customise with your own branding or style. My desktop has never looked cleaner or more organised and I’m loving it!
